Today, we’re trying 2 vegan Thanksgiving main dish ideas! The Tofurky vegan ‘turkey-style’ roast with wild rice stuffing AND their plant based holiday ‘ham’-style roast with amber ale glaze. I tell ya, these are way easier to prep than a dead animal, and way more appealing, too! It’s all about adding the right seasonings, aromatics, and sauces.
2 Easy Vegan Thanksgiving Mains - Tofurky Roast & Plant Based 'Ham'

Ingredients
- Tofurky Stuffed Turkey-style Roast
- 1 Tofurky Plant-Based Roast, thawed in fridge for 24 hours*
- 3 Tbsp. olive oil
- 1 Tbsp. soy sauce
- 1 1/2 tsp. ground sage
- 1/2 tsp. dry thyme
- 1/4 tsp. black pepper
- 2 drops liquid smoke (optional)
- aromatic vegetables of choice (e.g. chopped onions, carrots, celery, garlic)
- Tofurky Ham-style Roast
- 1 Tofurky Plant-Based Ham Style Roast, thawed in fridge for 24 hours*
- Amber Glaze sauce packet
- Optional: whole cloves, to decorate
- 1/3 cup water, to add to pan
Instructions
- For the Tofurky Stuffed Turkey-style Roast, line a square baking dish with aluminum foil and parchment paper. Place the roast in the center of the parchment.
- In a small bowl, mix the olive oil, soy sauce, sage, thyme, black pepper, and liquid smoke, if using. Brush half of the mixture onto the roast, saving the other half for later.
- Place aromatic vegetables around the roast, then wrap the parchment and foil around the roast. Bake at 350F for 1 hr. and 20 minutes (*if the roast is not thawed, bake frozen roast according to package directions; about 2 hrs 15 minutes).
- Remove turkey-style roast from oven. Transfer the roast and vegetables from the parchment packet directly into the baking dish. Baste with remaining olive oil mixture. Bake uncovered for additional 15 minutes. Remove turkey-style roast from oven and slice to serve.
- For the Tofurky Plant-Based Ham Style Roast, place the cloves into the top of the roast, if using. Place roast in the center of a square baking dish and add 1/3 cup water to the pan. Cover dish tightly with aluminum foil. Bake at 350F for 1 hr. and 20 minutes (*if the roast is not thawed, bake frozen roast according to package directions; about 2 hrs 15 minutes).
- Remove from oven and baste with Amber Glaze. Bake uncovered for additional 15 minutes. Remove ham-style roast from oven and slice to serve.
